Despite an extensive international travel history that meant they did not meet the standard residency requirement, our client successfully obtained Australian citizenship by conferral. The Challenge
Our client, the spouse of an Australian citizen, had travelled overseas approximately 80 times across multiple countries. As a result, the application raised complex residency issues, and the Department requested further information about the client’s travel history and overseas police clearances before making a decision.
