Hamed completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University in 2025 and was admitted to the legal profession in 2026.

Before transitioning into his role as a lawyer, Hamed worked as a paralegal and team leader at Kindra Migration Lawyers from April 2024. He also volunteered as a legal caseworker with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, where he gained valuable experience in migration matters.
