Congratulations to Managing Partner and Director Jessica Williamson on being named a finalist in the Migration category at the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards.
The Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards recognise Australia’s leading legal partners across a range of practice areas, celebrating outstanding professional excellence, leadership, client service, and contributions to the legal profession. Being named a finalist is a significant achievement and reflects Jessica’s long-standing impact in the field of immigration law.
Jessica is a co-founder of Kindra Migration Lawyers and has practised exclusively in immigration law since 2010. She is highly regarded for her experience across corporate migration, family migration and refugee law matters, advising everyone from start-ups to multinational corporations. Jessica is particularly known for her ability to simplify complex migration issues and provide commercially practical advice for clients navigating Australia’s migration system.
Her career has also included significant contributions to the refugee and human rights sector, including serving as Principal Solicitor and Program Manager of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre’s Human Rights Law Program. Jessica regularly presents at migration and refugee law conferences and has contributed to several Senate Inquiries into proposed changes to Australia’s migration laws.
This recognition also follows Jessica previously being named Migration Partner of the Year at the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards in 2020.
We look forward to the awards night on Thursday, 4 June 2026 and wish Jessica and all other finalists the very best.
